What previous life events do you credit for piquing your interest in cycling and racing?
My dad was an avid runner and cyclist. He is the reason I began cycling. I primarily rode with him until August of 2015 when I participated in the Iron Girl triathlon and met Jessica Blake. Through Jessica, I became involved in the local cycling community and began participating in group rides.
What do you do by day?
Workout three times a day, eat and sleep.
What does an average training week look like?
I train six days a week at Metabolic Liverpool. I also do strength training five days a week. The weekends are when I am able to get most of my cycling in.
What are your plans this year?
Just to have fun and not take life/training too seriously.
What are the biggest challenges you face for meeting your goals?
Not wanting to train on the bike, haha. Probably shouldn’t answer this one either.
What 3 pro riders would you want to shred with and why?
If I’m being honest... I can’t even name one pro 🤷🏼♀️
What are your favorite ways to fuel during a race or very long ride?
I prefer SIS gels and Skratch.
What is your favorite way to recover after a ride?
ICE CREAM!!! From Taylor Marie’s of course!
